A fatal multiple car crash in Colerain Township, Ohio, left one person dead and another person injured, the Colerain Township police have reported. The collision happened on Friday afternoon, November 11, 2020.
According to police reports, the collision resulted from a hit-skip crash in Springfield Township. A 30-year-old man carjacked a vehicle, forcing the driver out, before fleeing the scene with the stolen car. He drove into Colerain Township.
At about 12:30 pm, the man veered off the road at Colerain Avenue on the I-275 bridge because of a self-sustained gunshot wound. His car collided with several other vehicles waiting at a green light on Colerain Avenue's eastbound entrance ramp.
When emergency medical services arrived at the crash scene, they found the driver of the stolen vehicle dead. A second person suffered minor injuries as a result of the collision. Paramedics transported the person to the hospital.
